Happy School Movement or HSM is just one move which
advocates to promote that every school should be a better and enjoyable place
to learn. Through this program, the learners’ full potential is given the
greatest attention by creating a happier and more positive school culture. It is
also launch to boost the efficient implementation of the K to 12 basic
education curriculum in the Ilocos provinces.
This program held at the Vigan Convention Center. There
are stations where you can learn and enjoy. Some of these advocacy themes are: “Start Right,
Grow Smart”; “Our Roots, Our Strength”; “Talas Filipino: Umusbong sa Wika at
Panitikan”; “Reading is Power”; “Solve for life”; “Sa ALS Matututo Ka, Tara Na!”;
“Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility”; “The Joy of Exploration and Innovation”;
“Kwento Mo, Kwento Ko sa Matatag na Bansa Tutungo”; “Ako, Ikaw, Siya Tungo sa
Makabuluhang Buhay”; “Pride is the Power of Hands”; “I am In”; “HOPE CA”;
“ICARE”; and “Paghubog sa Kabataan, Tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan!”. It
was fun because except of getting information, we enjoyed.
School is not all about learning. In this place, you can find true friends that gives you courage and support you no matter what. Because of friends, students are excited every time they go to school and study with them. Happiness and school quality are inseparable as the happy schools’ framework serves as reference for measuring the quality of our education.
