REFLECTION

     When we were in grade 7, I’ve learned a lot about computers and shortcut keys. We also learned photo editing, parts of the motherboard, auto CAD when we were in grade 8. Basic accounting when we were grade 9 and now we are already grade 10, in the first quarter, I got some information about internet and blogging.

     Blogging is not easy for me. We can share our opinions about a certain topic but I can’t avoid to have troubles especially I don’t have any experience yet and I’m not good in English. I’m not also sure on what I am saying if it still has sense or what. But then, I doing my best to learn more. We also learned that we can communicate to others online in many ways.

     I’m very thankful that we have this kind of subject for us to know and have a knowledge in technologies because in this generation, we surrounded by technologies and we can’t stop the world but to live with it.

     Disaster is a serious disruption occurring over a relatively short period of time, affecting the function of a community or a society as it causes widespread human, material, economic or environmental loss which exceeds the ability of the affected community or society to cope using its own resources.

     When a disaster hit, it causes a lot of damage to us. Some of us die because they didn't survive on that incident. some of us didn't survive because we don't have enough knowledge on how to survive or help in case of emergency. That's why we must attend the earthquake drill for us to know what we need to do and not to do during and after an earthquake. We have also seminars and training for that.

    Always be prepared and ready. We must help each other because this is only way to save our selves, country and our mother earth.

KUMAIN NG WASTO MAGING AKTIBO, PUSH NATIN TO

     Nutrition month helps to promote nutrition education massages to the public. It was initiated on March 1973, was embraced be members of the American dietetic association. Nutrition is important to us to have a healthy body.

    Nutrition month is always celebrated in school every year. It will encourage us to eat healthy foods to have a healthy body. Especially to us as a student, we need to be healthy. We have to exercise and have a balance diet. We should eat healthy foods and avoid unhealthy foods. Mu must follow the “10 kumainments” and the “food pyramid” so that we can avoid illness.

     As soon as possible, avoid those unhealthy foods. Avoid cigarettes and alcohol because it’s not good to our health. It will ruin our internal organs.

     Having a healthy lifestyle will make you live longer. Eat moderately because too much rice will kill you.

TO BOAST AWARENESS AND PREPAREDNESS

    

     The NDRRMC, along with national government agencies like DepEd and OCD, are set to lead the “National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill”. They are implementing this program to let the people to be aware and prepared if there is an earthquake.

     In this program, it will make us prepared in case that there is an earthquake. We must know the “Duck, Cover and hold” to protect ourselves. And we are able to protect others from danger. Some citizens fainted during the earthquake.

     We must be always ready and don’t panic during the earthquake to avoid danger.

LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT

Dear Mr. President,

     Good day Sir! I would like to thank you for being a good leader. Thank you for changing our country into a better one. Thank you for arresting those drug addicts and pushers. Thank you for keeping our tourist spots clean.

     Even though there's a bad side of you that ruins your image on the other citizens like cursing in front of the camera, I will still admire you.

     Again, thank you for being a good president. I wish you good health. I hope that our country will going to be a better nation.

121st INDEPENDENCE DAY

     Independence day is celebrating the anniversary of a country's independence from another country that ruled it in the past. Emilio Aguinaldo raised our flag on June 12 to officially declared Philippines as an independent country.
     After colonizing Philippines by foreign countries, the Philippine heroes fought them just to reach our freedom. By celebrating our independence day, we are displaying our Philippine flag outside schools and houses. This is also considered as our holiday. We have no work and classes. It is also reported on television on how we reach or independence.
     It is important to celebrate our independence day because this is how we respect our Philippine independent.

     

THE DREAMER

     Hi! I'm Lea Mary Vallejos, existing in this world since February 16, 2004. Shining like a star in the darkest night. Wearing a mask to hide my problems. Acting like a clown in front of my family and friends to make them happy. But, as a young person living in poverty, i also have dreams to fulfill. I have goals to achieve and that is to lift my family out from poverty and be a successful policewoman. I may not be the serious type of a person but I can turn the word impossible into possible with God.
